Sen. Clinton Loses in Wrestling Semis 



Freshman Senator Hillary R. Clinton of New York was upset in her attempt to reach the finals of the Far East Women's Wrestling Championships yesterday.  Clinton, 56, was trailing 9-2 in her semi-final match with North Korean champion Flung Yu Don before being rendered useless by Don's notorious "pretzel" move and, ultimately, pinned with 2:20 left in the contest.  Clinton was attempting to become the first-ever U.S. woman to win the 165 pound title in this popular Asian tournament.  "I will continue to fight for the people of New York," Sen. Clinton said after the match in her flat, nasal Chicago accent... 

Putin Reportedly Thinks Soldiers Didn't Hear Fart

Russian President Vladimir Putin is denying reports that a group of Indian soldiers heard him break wind at a ceremony last week at the Presidential Palace in New Delhi.  Putin was asked by reporters immediately after the event whether he had violated one of India's most sacred codes of etiquette, the Gasdi, and Putin said, rather brusquely, "It is immaterial.  Zey heard nut-ting!"  However, Indian officials were said to be preparing to file a formal complaint with the World Court over the incident...
